The girls have been busy! Just look and see

Check out the crafty projects for the week of Jan 10-16th

FYI: If you want to get a closer look at any of the projects just click on the picture

Nikki and Vikki both have sent me W.I.P. (work in progress)

This is Nik's when it is finished it will be a beautiful hat.

Here's Vik's W.I.P:
It looks like it is a tablecloth or shaw. Let me know if I'm wrong.
I do know whatever it is it will be beautiful.

Now we have Mom's. She transferred a quote on to a sweatshirt. This was a hard project for her, she hasn't been playing on her computer in a long while. So, she had to relearn everything. As you can see she remembered well..
Hang in there mom it will all come back to you!
good job

Terri has sewn a carry tote for her friend Pam (lucky Pam). I love the colors.
My favorite colors are purple and teal green (just sayin')

As you can see it is completely lined inside with side pockets and all.
does that side pocket have a zipper?
And pockets for pencils..or knitting needles or maybe crochet hooks I LOVE IT

My project this week:
I got out my photos and scrapbooked a few pages. I am so far behind I don't know where to begin.
I just picked out pictures from our last trip. Levi is a super big Packer Fan so as part of his birthday present, in September, we took a 4 day mini vacation to Green Bay WI.  To see the new Packers Hall of Fame, and tour Lambeau Field.

Thanks girls for all your hard work.
I know I am posting early.
If any other projects come in (Marci, Karen, Dana you have until midnight)
I will just up date this post.

Looking forward to next weeks projects!

This weeks projects are in!

Looks like a lot the crafty projects are finished for the week.

Vikki has completed this crochet doily runner.
It is 36"x16", took 4 balls of thread and over 40hrs of hooking.
that's a lot of hookn'

Now for Dana's.
While attending a baby shower today she had the opportunity to create this baby bib.
way to go Dana, and she didn't think she'd get a craft in this week.

I can't wait to see all the crafty things next week - Jan 10-16th.

NOTE: Speaking of next week, I am going to make one big post with all the projects together. I think it will be easier to see all the creativity together. But you can send(via group txt) pictures of your finished craft anytime throughout the week.

Keep on crafting

Two more projects finished!

I am so happy to say Marci and Nikki both have completed their craft projects for the week!
Way to go girls!!
Marci recently started making cards. I've been after her forever to play in paper with mom and I. She has joined Stampin' Up and even purchased herself a Big Shot die cutter. Yippee! She has made some very pretty cards including the one she has completed for this weeks crafty project..
check it out:
Nikki has knitted this pretty blue scarf. I love the pattern! I have recently taught myself to knit, so I know the hours she put into this.

and how about her model. Isn't she a cutie!

My project is finished!

My project for this week was to recover the stools in the craft/playroom.
I could have finished them sooner but as you all know, the end of November I had Carpal Tunnel surgery on my right hand. I still don't have my strength back in that hand, and I think I over used it stapling the fabric on the first stool. 'Cause when I woke up this morning I couldn't bend my fingers and my whole hand swelled up twice it's original size. No worries, it's back to normal now, I just need to remember not to rush the healing.
So anyways, Larry (bless his heart) finished stapling the fabric on the second chair.

Check them out:
The colors are much brighter than shown and match the room so well.
Levi said the room is a little "girlie" for his taste! LOL
I told him the brighter the better, and more bling is better still, his reply had me crack'n up...
he said if it gets any brighter and anymore glitter he would have to wear his sunglasses just to walk in.

Keep on craftin'

Another craft completed!

Mom has completed her weekly craft. This wonderful crochet scarf. We seen these scarfs while vacationing in Branson MO.  I guess mom couldn't wait to get home and whip one up.
Look at all those beads, it has over 600 wow! I seen this today and I have to say the pictures don't do it justice. It is so pretty.... now those would make nice gifts (just sayin').

Good job mom! Photobucket

The First Craft is Posted!

Terri is the first to complete a craft this week. Way to go Terri!

Here it is
This is a 6.5"x 9.5" it is a lined padded tote great for carrying a 7" tablet.
Super Nice, and she said she just whipped it up over the weekend. I don't know about you, but it would take me a week just to get all my supplies together.
Thanks Terri great job.

Now I need to get started on something crafty!

don't forget to comment!

A New Year and a Family Challenge!

Okay I have come up with a New Years challenge...A Craft a week!
How fun right?
This challenge will require my mom and sisters my family members to do one craft a week just send me a picture and I will post it. This is to be fun, and a way for us to stay connected. I know there will be times that some will not have a craft to post, but I hope everyone will stop in and say hi!
I also know that some projects will take more than a week to complete....remember this is stress free.

I have a very talented family, and in the next few months you will see just how talented it is.

I for one am VERY excited and can't wait to see all the creativity! Photobucket
