Birthday card & a NEW blog challenge

While checking Opus to see if the card I made qualified for the Sundays challenge I started "lurking" in the other Opus "groupies" blogs and found Hazel's and there she has a link to her NEW Saturday Christmas Theme Challenge. Yep, she is going to start her own challenge beginning January 2011. (something I told mom she ought to do) Go check it out, http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.com/ looks like fun. On to Opus Challenge #80: Men Men Men Men Manly Men - like always with Opus my card qualifies. All they asked of us was to create a project with the theme of men. Once again I am so glad Jana and Rosemary don't expect much from their groupies.
Man cards are usually pretty hard for me. I just so happen to have made a birthday card for my wonderful brother-law Rich's 40th birthday. He is an engineering for CSX Railroad, and lucky for me he is a big kid, making this one a lot easier. I still struggled not using glitter or any of that other "girlie" bling I am so fond of.
